how much
does it last?
Times come from simulations where the FRAGWATT's real BMS software is run with the battery, transducer and thermal model. The cells are charged up to 4.15 V, the laptop is at full power and without touching its own battery.

The numbers come from FRAGWATT's real BMS software and simulations with the battery, converter and thermal model. Approximately 255 Wh is required to power a 235 W laptop for 1 hour; That's why we recommend Trio for workloads exceeding 1 hour.

Laptop power was taken from real gaming and workload profiles: AAA gaming fluctuates between 180–330 W on stage, LLM tutorials hold steady at 235 W, rendering hits 285 W. "Power %" indicates how much of what the laptop wants is delivered; On the Solo, the 240 W continuous limit of a single module comes into play at heavy loads.

The simulation runs for a maximum of 3 hours in each scenario; For light loads (≈) exceeding 3 hours, the time was calculated from the same energy table. For ECO and GaN times profiles and GaN look at their pages.
Why Trio for 1 hour?
physics of energy
Powering a 235 W laptop for one hour requires approximately 255 Wh of energy. A single battery carried on an aircraft without prior approval is limited to 100 Wh. We therefore divided FRAGWATT into 97.2 Wh modules: Trio's 291.6 Wh yields 71 minutes of LLM training, or 92 minutes in ECO mode.
For short sessions the Solo is enough: a 23-minute AAA session, 32 minutes of e-sports or more than 2 hours of office work. Duo is between the two, 1.19 kg in the bag.
Ways to extend the time
- ECO profile: the video card operates in the more efficient zone; work slows down by 10–20%, time increases by more than 30%.
- GaN if there is a socket: With a 240W GaN charger the time would be unlimited, the FRAGWATT only covers peak moments.
- Laptop's charging limit: Let the laptop battery remain at 80% and the FRAGWATT's energy will go to work, not to charge the battery.
- Shade: hot cell means more internal loss; Although the power is not reduced even in 35 ° C sun, the shade is more efficient.
